The role
Our Milton Keynes manufacturing facility is just one year old, built with the latest technology and designed for growth. We’re looking for an Engineering Technician (Electrical Bias) who’s ready to make their mark.
You’ll take the lead on electrical fault finding, repairs, and optimisation, while supporting on mechanical maintenance when needed. Working alongside our Automation and Production teams, you’ll help keep our state-of-the-art lines running at peak performance, minimise downtime, and introduce new technologies that drive efficiency.
This is more than maintenance.. it’s a chance to shape how our factory operates as we continue to grow. Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be involved in:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to identify and repair faulty components, keeping traceability records around work performed.
- Respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures and apply quick and effective solutions.
- Implement preventive measures to avoid recurring problems and minimise future downtime, collaborating with automation partners where appropriate.
- Support during factory acceptance (FAT) site acceptance tests with some travel to Europe potentially required, (SATs) and installation activities during site setup.
- Provide training and support to operators and other staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
You’ll be based on our new site in Milton Keynes working in our new Manufacturing Engineering team! There will be 2 shift patterns 6am - 2.30pm and 1.30pm - 10pm. You'll alternate these shifts week by week.
