The role

Huel has achieved phenomenal growth since launching in 2015, reaching over £180m of annual sales by our 8th year! We’re continuing to grow at a rapid rate, especially in our retail channel, and that’s where this new role comes in! To help support this team we are now looking for a new Retail Demand Planner to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

• Create, maintain and optimise system-driven Statistical demand forecasts for key accounts.
• Oversee a monthly consensus forecasting process across Retail, Finance, and Demand teams, integrating forecasts with sales performance and aligning demand plans with business objectives through collaboration with Marketing and Retail Sales.
• Prepare and present reports on demand trends, risks, and changes, while reviewing and challenging the Retail Sales team’s forecasting assumptions—such as promotion uplift, seasonality, and NPD launches—using data where possible.
• Drive forecast accuracy improvements through root cause analysis and collaboration with the Customer Supply team while identifying and implementing process improvements across Retail regions.
• Represent the demand planning function in project meetings to ensure alignment of forecast

What we're looking for in you

• This role is ideally suited for someone with circa' 1-2 years + experience in a supply chain role, ideally within demand planning with experience in the Retail sector.

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills to keep internal stakeholders well-informed, and resolve issues quickly.

• Strong analytical and numeracy skills with proficiency in Excel/Sheets, as well as attention to detail and the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

• Proven planning and organisation skills, as you’ll be handling multiple projects at once!

• Naturally curious and proactive; a willingness to seek out improvements, challenge the status quo in the interests of making things better, with a bias to action and taking ownership.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Things can change quickly so keeping an open mind and being a team player is key to our success.
