The role
In the past 52 weeks, we've achieved £54m RSV on Nielsen, with 60% YoY growth driven by our flagship Huel RTD range. As one of the fastest-growing brands in the Protein & Sports Nutrition category, we’ve expanded our offering with innovative launches, including Black Edition Ready to Drink, Daily A–Z Vitamin Drinks, and Complete Nutrition Bars.
Now spanning four categories with more retail-ready NPD planned for FY25 and beyond, we’re aiming to scale our retail business to £100m+ in the next few years. To help drive this growth, we’re hiring a new Category Executive. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market share and key performance indicators to monitor the success of category initiatives and provide actionable insights
- Develop tools to track the performance of new product ranges and create supporting materials for key account teams
- Support in analysing market trends, customer behaviour and competitor performance to develop strategies for category growth
- Drive the development of consumer and shopper insights for the Protein Bars & Energy Drinks categories, contributing to the long-term retail category vision
- You'll have your finger on the pulse and monitor industry trends and market insights, understanding macro trends to influence our retail strategy and guide theirs.
- Collaborate with brand teams by delivering market data and insights to influence NPD strategies and decisions
- Provide insights and data to support the creation of NPD sell-in decks to unlock distribution gains and new retailers
- Opportunity to take ownership of a Huel range, developing insights, and expertise and fostering engagement with external retailers to drive category growth

What we're looking for in you
We’re looking for new Hueligans who thrive in a high-performance environment and are driven by an unwavering pursuit of excellence. - Previous experience in category management, trade marketing, sales or 1-2 years work experience in data analysis
- Passionate about Huel and super excited about the prospect of driving growth over the coming few years.
- A detail-oriented, data-savvy individual who is passionate about consumer insights and market trends.
- Confident with raw data, Excel & Powerpoint. You can build pivots, charts and reports from scratch.
- Familiarity with tools such as Nielsen is preferable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with teams and external stakeholders.
