The role

To help support our operations team we are looking for a Product Supply Manager to join us! This role will see you take responsibility for managing and supporting the a small team to create optimal production plans, and develop direct, collaborative relationships with manufacturing partners to secure excellent service levels and operational efficiency. Here’s a glimpse of what your dynamic role will involve:

• Lead and Develop Your Team: Oversee a planning team of 4-5 members (2-3 direct reports) responsible for the supply planning and availability of key product categories, including Ready-to-Drink, Bars, and Daily A-Z Cans. 
• Foster direct, collaborative relationships with manufacturing partners to secure excellent service levels and operational efficiency. Ensure optimal planning and execution with contract manufacturing partners across the UK and EU.
• Deliver on Our Customer Promise of ‘Never Out of Stock’: Balance product availability and wastage risk by maintaining optimal stock levels, supporting our rocket ship growth across D2C and retail channels.
• Strategic Planning: Manage and support the team to create optimal weekly, monthly, and annual production plans, ensuring they align with stock holding targets and co-packer capacity. Adjust plans proactively to accommodate changes as needed.
• Coordinate with our sourcing and materials teams to ensure materials and packaging are ready to meet production needs, while working with logistics teams to plan outbound finished goods effectively.
• Data-Driven Reporting: Provide accurate, timely reports on product availability and forward stock coverage, with robust checks to eliminate surprises.

What we're looking for in you

• Approx 5+ years in outsourced production management, preferably within the FMCG sector, ideally food or drink, with a relevant degree.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team, with strong collaborative skills and cross-functional experience.
• Strong relationship-building abilities and exceptional communication across teams and with external partners. Able to present recommendations clearly using simple slides that can be understood by all stakeholders.
• Highly organised with a focus on execution; nothing falls through the cracks under your watch..
