US Marketing Manager

We are looking for a marketing superstar to join our rocket ship of a business, one of the hottest brands in the world right now and a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn and deliver. This is no ordinary marketing  role. Its big, challenging and you will need to be top of your game across strategy, ideas, creative and making stuff happen to get great work out there for our consumers to see with a remit across the full marketing mix including online, offline marketing, brand, product and packaging.

As well as a strategic and tactical thinker, you will need to love rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in to campaign creation and execution. Flexibility will be key also because in startups, everyone wears a lot of hats. 

The ideal candidate will be an inspired leader and marketing genius that thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Reporting into our Marketing Director and working closely with or Founder you will have ideally have experience and a proven track record of growing brands globally! 

The purpose of the role is to:

  • US customer champion - know our ‘Hueligans’ inside and out, specifically US Hueligans and how we can recruit them to the brand and give them an amazing experience. Deeply understand their habits and preferences. Use these insights to improve Huel

  • US Strategy and marketing plans- create, lead and implement Huel’s Marketing plan for the US

  • Storytelling, brand, and packaging - responsible for managing offline advertising, branding, and packaging design to win with US customers and working with our performance marketing teams to and E-commerce teams to champion the US

  • Analysis, Reporting & Optimisation - oversee campaign management and reporting in the US, including in-depth analytics of LTV, CPA and ROI of all activity to ensure maximize effectiveness

  • Hands on - to be hands-on role with day-to-day campaign conception, creation, execution and communication of performance executing both global campaigns

  • Result driven - achieving the revenue, customer value and engagement targets in  the US

  • Partnerships - develop and manage strategic partner relationships in the US


  • Experience of working globally, across different markets and on the US market preferentially

  • Ability to generate ideas, pitch them and try them out, quickly

  • Ability to work at all levels: strategically, ideation creation, execution - we all muck in

  • A proven track record of achieving high growth and the smarts and pace required to thrive within that environment

  • Experience in building and implementing marketing campaigns offline and online both with and without agencies - we don’t have a huge agency roster here and do a lot ourselves

  • Passion for food and nutrition

  • Have second to none communication skills and attention to detail

  • Be a team player

  • Experience in startups is desirable but not essential

  • Ability to get things done
