Finance Manager

Job description

The Finance Manager role is an exciting business partnering role with a variety of responsibilities and projects. You will be working closely with our E-Commerce, Marketing, International and Finance teams to monitor and analyse trends to help drive value throughout the business.

  • Preparation of month end journals including depreciation, accruals, prepayments and recharges
  • Prepare Management Accounts & insightful reporting to support consolidation of Global accounts
  • Provide commentary on variances vs. budget and forecasts, recommended actions to keep on plan
  • Prepare financial and non-financial (KPI) forecast to drive and support business growth
  • Lead the flash reporting process to create a proactive culture of financial management
  • Implement processes to support project reporting of R&D & New Product Development projects to allow accurate monitoring of project spend
  • Create accurate reporting of project costs to support R&D claims / grants
  • Work with the New Product Development team to implement a database of standard cost for each product developed to create greater control over margin calculations
  • Create the Huel matrix of prices and gross profit calculations for all global products
  • Lead the monthly Pricing Meeting and be the ongoing Champion of the Huel Pricing & Gross Profit

Requirements

  • Qualified Account or Finalist Level
  • Ability to break down complex problems, often involving large amounts of data
  • Commercial awareness to support prioritisation and communication at a senior level
  • Interest in internet shopping across global regions
  • Minimum 2:1 degree is desirable.
  • Careful attention to detail and desire to achieve excellence in delivery
  • Strong collaboration skills to build trust and confidence across functions
