Our operations team play a huge role in the success of our customers' experience, ensuring we deliver on our promise of never being out of stock 🍛. To help ensure we continue to deliver on our promise, we are looking for a new Packaging and Merch Planning Executive to join our operations team! Here's an insight in to your day to day:
Our products use several different types of packaging. You'll work closely with the Procurement and Production teams to understand how much of each type we need to create our products, ensuring they're always in supply 🍅.
Create accurate plans and place timely orders to maintain target stock levels, making sure we're able to produce the right quantities of our products.
You'll organise and assist with the purchasing of all types of packaging, for all product range; Liaising with manufacturers as to what levels of stock they hold and subsequently placing orders for stock replenishments🏬.
You'll communicate regularly with external stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and fulfilment houses, to ensure a smooth flow of products and to help minimise stock shortages.
Working closely with our supplier partners and procurement team to help deliver target service levels and spot any opportunities for improvement.
Careful monitoring of our packaging inventory, making sure that the level of stock is fit for purpose, accurate in the system and maintained at optimum target levels.
You’ll maintain accurate and timely wastage reports, working with the rest of the Material Planning Team to forecast any stock loss - we hate waste so the target is to keep this to the absolute bare minimum🗑️.

What we're looking for in you
This role will best suit someone with around 1-2 years of experience working in Supply Chain, who has knowledge of planning, ordering, stock control & forecasting. We need someone who is an excellent communicator, you will be able to build strong relationships and manage our suppliers. It's also critical that you are proficient with either excel or google sheets. Keeping track of packaging and merchandise stock levels and where it is needed for production is a SUPER important part in the effectiveness of our supply chain and it forms the basis of a lot of this role 📈
